The Union is a drinking and anesthetized discussion group based in Dumaguete. Founded by publication staffers of the Weekly Sillimanian in the school year 2006-2007—which was originally composed of news writers, feature writers, and one member of the editorial board—members in this group are supposed to meet every Wednesday at the nearest drinking tavern by 9:30 p.m. Due to inconsistent and harried planning, assembly varies every other week.The logo of the group represents the epitome of absolute bliss.
